The Resort and Second-home Property Specialist certification prepares Realtors^® to service the growing resort and second-home market. This designation is awarded by the National Association of Realtors^® Resort Specialty division to real estate practitioners in the United States and foreign countries who meet the specified educational criteria. To earn this certification Creighton successfully completed the NAR^® Resort & Second Home Markets course, the Tax Deferred 1031 Exchanges course, the Certified International Property Specialist's International Real Estate for Local Markets course, and the e-Buyer course.

The coveted Accredited Luxury Home Specialist designation (ALHS^®) is maintained and managed by the Luxury Home Council, a group of real estate experts specializing in the sale of luxury homes. To earn this designation, agents must have prior demonstrated experience selling luxury homes and must complete certain educational requirements.

The Lake Murray Real Estate Specialist (LMRES) designation is offered exclusively by the Russell & Jeffcoat Academy. Lake Murray waterfront property provides a unique set of challenges to real estate professionals. Pre-requisites for earning this designation include completion of the Lake Murray Real Estate Specialist Course and the designee's quantifiable involvement in the closing of listings and sales of Lake Murray waterfront property.

Born in Atlanta, Creighton grew up in Columbia and has lived there most of his life. He was a twelve year attendee of James H. Hammond Academy (The Hammond School) and received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina where he became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Creighton is a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and attends church as often as possible with his daughter Gambrell. In fact, it was the desire to be more available to Gambrell that originally led him to a career in real estate.
